WHY WE EXIST
Too many people — especially women — walk into a gun store and walk right back out. Intimidated. Talked down to. Made to feel like they don't belong.
Always Strapped exists to change that. We believe firearm ownership is a right, not a privilege reserved for a certain type of person. We believe education is power. And we believe confidence with a firearm is something every responsible adult deserves.
We're Virginia-based, women-led, and unapologetically bold. We sell quality firearms, run certified safety courses, and build a community where everyone — regardless of experience, background, or identity — feels welcome, respected, and empowered.

Sherrita Dobson served 23 years working with the federal government before founding Always Strapped in 2021. She'd seen too many people — especially women — left vulnerable because they were afraid of firearms, or because no one had ever taken the time to teach them properly.
Her vision was simple: a firearm business that leads with education, not intimidation. A place where a first-time buyer gets the same respect as a seasoned shooter. Where safety is non-negotiable and confidence is the goal.
Today, Sherrita leads a team of certified instructors and has personally trained over 1,200 students. She's not just selling guns — she's building a community of empowered, responsible gun owners.
